The following is a response to SlaveOfAhlubait’s article entitled: “Sahabi trying to enter House of Holy Prophet after Revelation of Verse of Hijab.” The article was published on the 5th of June, 2012, and can be found here.

SoA, in this short article, quotes the narration and lets the title of his article do the talking:

We find in Musnad Ahmad

Anas bin Malik says that after Verse of Hijab was revealed, i tried to enter house of Holy Prophet asws like before, so Holy Prophet told me: get back o son
Shiekh Shoaib says hadeeth is sahih and this chain is hasan

The narration is actually in Saheeh Al-Bukhari #1086 and it is explained in greater detail that Anas was literally with the Prophet (salalahu alaihi wa salam) when the verse was revealed and that it was at that very moment that Anas was turned away.

The reason for the confusion in the above is that SoA mistranslated the word “لما” which means “when” to “after”. This is an incorrect translation. The correct translation is: When the verse of Hijab was revealed, I came to enter…

Also what the ignorant Shi`ee writer doesn’t realize is that Anas was the servant of the Prophet (saw), meaning if he’s accusing Anas of being a pervert, this indirectly means that the Prophet (saw) does not care if his servant was a pervert and decided to keep a perverted boy as his servant which reflects negatively on him.
