The following is a response to SlaveOfAhlubait’s article entitled: Mola Ali – The Creator. The article can be found here.

SoA shares the following narration:

Yahya ibn Adam – Israil – Abu Ishaq – Hubayrah ibn Yuraym, who said:
Ali, may Allah be pleased with him, came to us, holding a hazelnut and he said: “Do you people know what this is?” We said, “We do not know.” He then said: “As for me, I know that I created it. ‘Should He not know, He that created? And He is the One that understands the finest mysteries (and) is well-acquainted (with them).’” (Qur’an 67:14)

The narration is weak for Abu Ishaaq Al-Sabee’ee is an infamous mudalis and his narrations are rejected if he did not declare that he heard the hadith.

As for Hubairah bin Yaryam, he has been weakened or called anonymous by a group of Hadith scholars, including: Al-Saji, Yahya bin Ma’een, Al-Nasa’ee, Abu Hatim Al-Razi, Ibn Jarud, Al-Dulabi, Ibn Sa’ad, and Ibn Khirash. See his biography in Tahtheeb Al-Tahtheeb and Ikmal Tahtheeb Al-Kamal.

Hubairah bin Yaryam according to Al-Jawzajani was a Mukhtari. According to Al-Nawbakhti, the Shia scholar (p. 34), the Mukhtaris are those that believed that Jibreel (alaihi alsalam) used to descend on Al-Mukhtar Al-Thaqafi with revelations.

Thus, slave of Ahlul-Bayt’s attempt to prove that his Lord `Ali is a divine creator fails.
